I came up with the idea for this outfit after I saw the fabric.  I didn't buy it just then, but after a day or so I just had to go back and buy some.  On her first day of wearing this, I took Marie to Tenshi no Sumika to show it off and on the way home we went to the American Girl store.  There, we saw the cutest puppy and had to buy her!  So now Marie has a puppy name Antoinette, "An" for short.
